Flightline Delivers Dominating BC Classic Performance

Written by admin

Undefeated Flightline continues to soar.

After tracking Life Is Good   early, Flightline opened up in the stretch to post an 8 1/4-length victory in the $6 million Longines Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) Nov. 5 at Keeneland.

The heavily favored Flightline  completed the 1 1/4-mile test in 2:00.05 on a fast track. He was followed home by Olympiad   in second and Taiba  in third. The victory gives the 4-year-old son of Tapit   six wins in as many starts.

Classic-placed Runhappy Travers Stakes (G1) winner Epicenter broke down in the backstretch, nearing the far turn. He was vanned off after walking onto the trailer.

This story will be updated and BloodHorse will post an updated story on Epicenter.
